I have spent so much time this week trying to find a decent but easy way to blog on neocities, and I don't really like any of the options.

Back in my day (of running personal sites as a teen in the early aughts (00s), EVERYONE had a blog embedded in their personal site, and it was almost always greymatter. I've been so surprised at how non-bloggy all these revival sites are.

Anyway, this is me testing zonelets, but I don't think I'll stick with it, as I want tags. But, it's something to get started with, I suppose? But I don't like how it's off in it's own subfolder with it's own layout and stuff, and I cannot figure out how to embed it in my existing layout. An absolute deal-breaker is that it doesn't have comments (also such big part of the y2k personal site experience!), but I think I saw that you can embed disqus comments, so I will give that a try before I give up on this entirely.
