× NOTICE: This was originally posted on October 1, 2006 (few days after my 19th bday!) to my personal livejournal and the adiml community on lj. Forgive the cringe, I was baby. This was my first semester at university!

First ADIML!

Right after i woke up at 7:30, we had a fire alarm. Residents of Oak Hall were not pleased (note cold sad faces of my friend Ryan & I). At least it was a gorgeous morning and not raining!

time check & a rush to get ready because the firedrill kept us outside for over a half hour and i was late-ish

my first 2 classes are back to back.. comparing cultures (Intro to the Third World) & Film Appreciation (we watched Strangers on a Train by Hitchock... yay!)

my friend Veronica & I (we share most of the same classes, strangely enough) headed over to meet our other friends for some lunch before we went to our freshman seminar.. which consists of watching documentaries in the Women's Center (on mondays, at least)

after seminar i ran home.. to find one of my roomates moving out! :(

Then it was off to yoga.. (the girl is my friend kasey.. and then i'm just in love with my purse and yoga mat so i had to include them..)

our yoga classes are at the Nutter Center which isn't very walkable after an hour of intense yoga.. so some of us without cars take the shuttle

Then I ran home (thats my hall) and immediately went to Chipotle with my Tammy-friend, and had to take the shuttle back again from the freshman parkinglot and walk back to the dorms..

In sam's room.. i liked her pillowcase so i took a picture.. and am now tempted to cut my hair as short as it looks here.. (but i dont have the balls for it..)

We were going to all go work out, but i realized i was about to run late for this sorority recruitment thing.. so i went home and got ready & went to the Student union.. the only pic i got of the meeting is the blurry line as i was approaching the room.. woops.

came home to see one roomie all moved out, and the other had moved her stuff to where the other was.. so the room was all differented.. but at least my corner was as glorious as ever (i'm obsessed with bollywood [hindi films from India] if you couldn't tell :p)

made my rounds on the computer (and watched the music videos from Anthony Kaun Hai? about 84 times)

time check & pondering... to study for tomorrow's Womens Studies exam.. or sleep?
