I made my first website as a ~12yo kid (and got an actual cease-and-desist letter from JK Rowling's lawyers which started a WHOLE THING (<-birth name used, pls ignore*)) circa 2000. And I was very active in making personal websites as a teen girl in the early 00s, and I have always missed the creative outlet that was, and how fun it was to go websurfing between such sites.

A few years ago I was contacted by [REDACTED bc i can't remember if I'm allowed to share], which inspired me to dig up all as many of my old websites as I could from the wayback machine. (View them here!) That really threw me in the deep end of oldweb nostalgia.

When I was putting my old websites back together on neocities, I slowly started discovering the oldweb revival sites, but only in ~2025 have I really started to build my own website again.
